The Soul wishes to express…

“I should not wish symphonic works to come from my pen which

express nothing, and which consist of empty playing with chords,

rhythms and modulations… ought not a symphony – that is, the most

lyrical of all musical forms – express everything for which there are no

words, but which the soul wishes to express, and which requires to be

expressed?” – P. Tchaikovsky (from Kraus, 26-7)

For my Fav. Symphony NO. 5

Flowers in December

Before i let you down again
I just want to see you in your eyes
I would have taken everything out on you
I only thought you could understand
They say everyman goes blind in his heart
And they say everybody steals somebody’s heart away
And i got nothing more to say about it
Nothing more than you would me
Send me your flowers, of your december
Send me your dreams, of your candy wine
I got just one thing I can’t give you
Just one more thing of mine
They say everyman goes blind in his heart
They say everybody steals somebody’s heart away
And i’ve been wondering why you let me down
And I been taking it all for granted

My fair lady

My fair lady. I simply adore it.

Bed! Bed! I couldn’t go to bed!
My head’s too light to try to set it down! Sleep! Sleep!
I couldn’t sleep tonight.
Not for all the jewels in the crown!
I could have danced all night!
I could have danced all night!
And still have begged for more.
I could have spread my wings
And done a thousand things I’ve never done before.
I’ll never know What made it so exciting;
Why all at once My heart took flight.

Lady in White

lady in white
